About Our Client
Page Personnel have been appointed to recruit for a new permanent Transactional Finance Supervisor role based in Wakefield. We are proud to be partnering with a professional services consultancy who specialise in the heavy industries sector. They have an excellent reputation within their niche and have incurred huge amounts of growth over the last few years.
Duties will include; Manage the Purchase ledger mail box and ensure queries are resolved in a timely manner, Manage two purchase ledger apprentices and ensure general purchase ledger tasks are completed i.e Matching invoices, reconciling statements, preparing payment runs, manage Sales Ledger inbox, ensure credit control duties are fulfilled to a high standard, ensure invoices are paid on time, ensure clients are issued with the correct credit limits, Ensure no sales invoices are blocked ny not having correct paperwork, Ensure unallocated Cash is allocated, Setting up payments in bank, Learn to post Journal postings and any other adhoc duties.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate should have:
- A background in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- A strong work ethic
- High attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, written & verbal
- Good level organisation
