About Our Client
The client is a leading business within the Manufacturing and production industry based in Wakefield, WF2. They are looking for a temporary administrator to join their team to supporting the purchasing department and ensure efficient purchasing and expediting of parts and services.
The Temporary Purchasing Administrator will be responsible for -
As Purchasing Administrator you will have a basic working knowledge of the computer systems relating to Purchasing, Stock, and Production Control alongside being well organised and a good communicator.
Updating system with current supplier delivery lead times and prices. Matching Purchase Orders / suppliers Delivery Notes Assisting Purchasing Supervisor to improve quality, deliveries and reduce costs. Raise necessary Purchase Orders with the aid of the MRP system. Processing of Purchase Invoices relating to non-stocked goods. Establish good communications with suppliers, including visiting suppliers on occasions. General administration duties for the division as advised by the Purchasing Supervisor and/or Plant Manager.
The Successful Applicant
The Temporary Purchasing Administrator will have/be -
- Previous background of purchasing/procurement/buying
- Excellent knowledge of administrative practices
- Excellent Microsoft Office Skills
- Experience using SAP
- Experience using SAGE
