About Our Client

Our client, a well known and growing company in Guildford are looking for a Tax Administrator to join their Accountancy team.

Job Description

The Tax Administrator will support the Tax Specialists in ensuring that a high level of quality is maintained in the delivery of our Self-Assessment Service to our clients. The Tax administrator must maintain the professional image of the company and encompass the passion and motivation to meet the required targets.Responsibilities Customer Service

  • To build and maintain effective relationships with potential clients and existing

customers, by use of appropriate questioning, clarification and language.

  • To communicate courteously with all customers by telephone and email, progressing

issues and queries to a successful conclusion at the earliest time.

  • To speak positively and enthusiastically about the company and its products and

services to ensure that a professional company and brand image is provided at all

times to customers and colleagues. Commercial

  • Administrative support to the Accountancy Specialists, including communicating

with clients by phone and email.

  • Learning basic book-keeping; recording transactions including sales, purchases, income, receipts and payments by our clients.
  • To ensure that all databases are kept up-to-date with progressing work and client


  • To ensure that all departmental records (paper and electronic) are kept in

accordance with good practice and Data Protection standards.

  • To follow and where possible improve departmental processes and Company service

standards. Teamwork

  • To pro-actively assist the Sales Department and Tax Specialist with all required


  • To be efficient in escalating any client issues or potential issues to your line



  • To understand how to meet the requirements of a completed submission.
  • To constantly maintain a good level of understanding and knowledge of the

company's services and products, ensuring that customer queries can be dealt with

accurately and appropriately and supported by the department.

  • Excellent customer focus.
    • Demonstrates drive and positive approach to work and a determination and motivation to achieve targets.
