Page Personnel have partnered with a UK industry-leading business recruiting for a newly created Talent Acquisition Partner role to join their HR department in South Leeds.
This is a permanent role recruiting for a wide variety of roles for the organisation, high volume (c.25 vacancies) and relatively easy-to-fill roles. This would be a great opportunity for an experienced recruiter to bring their ideas to a newly created role.

Job Description

The successful applicant will be responsible for all recruitment, managing c.25 vacancies at any one time. Duties will include:

  • Researching and developing long term candidate attraction strategies;

  • Posting new vacancies on the company website;

  • Liaising with internal stakeholders to understand their specific recruitment needs;

  • Providing advice regarding candidate market conditions;

  • Creating job descriptions, person specifications and job advertisements;

  • Promoting job adverts on relevant sites and social media;

  • Liaising with external recruitment agencies, trying to keep costs to a minimum;

  • Proactively sourcing candidates through adverts, LinkedIn, and other methods;

  • Using social media channels to promote the employer brand and current opportunities;

  • Managing all direct applications regardless of outcome;

  • Completing detailed pre-screening and telephone/video interviewing;

  • Carrying out competency based interviews;

  • Designing and running assessment centres;

  • Attending and managing job/careers fairs;

  • Psychometric and personality testing;

  • Offer management including contracts of employment and welcome packs;

  • Designing and implementing inductions;

  • Liaising with HR team for follow up actions, i.e. probationary period reviews;

  • Ensuring positive diversity and inclusion actions.

The Successful Applicant

Candidates wishing to apply should have:

  • Recent and relevant recruitment experience;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • The ability to produce and voice new ideas;
  • A good level of computer literacy;
  • Experience with recruiting a mix of white and blue collar roles (desirable).
