Senior Credit Controller

As Senior Credit Controller, reporting to the Assistant Accounts Receivable Manager you will work as part of the Accounts Receivable team, through a high degree of autonomy you will be responsible for the management of the Accounts Receivable ledger. The main duties as Senior Credit Controller include but are not limited to:

Adhere to the University's Tuition Fees and Refunds Policy and procedures in relation to debt recovery

Day-to-day supervision of up to 4 5 Finance Assistants and Administrators

Maximise cash collection; reduce and maintain aged debt to a minimal value using a range of debt chasing methods

Run daily Accounts Receivable reports to identify and prioritise debtors

Liaise with debtors through e-mail, letter, SMS and telephone

General maintenance of the AR ledger to include: small balance write off's, complaint codes, allocations and reconciling journals

Support Banking Operations with payment allocation queries to identify the correct account for incoming payments

Respond to Debt Collections Agencies queries regarding historical debts in an accurate and timely manner

Working with the Assistant Accounts Receivable Manager and the wider team to identify and implement process improvements
