About Our Client
Our Manufacturing and Production have a not to be missed opportunity for a Senior Accounts Receivable Officer join their professional finance team of 12 strong in Bedford. The role will be well suited to someone with experience in reconciliation across the sales ledger function. Due to immense growth, they are confident that although this contract is to cover maternity leave that they will have the growth to increase the headcount and make this role permanently. On top of this they work in a flexible hybrid function with mixed start and finishes available as well as one day from home.
Job Description
Senior Accounts Receivable Officer be responsible for:
- Calling overdue customers and chasing payments
- Checking goods have been delivered for invoicing
- Processing customer collections
- Processing customer payments
- Assisting with Month end Close
- Credit checking new customers
- Reviewing credit insurance reports
- Resolving customer queries
The Successful Applicant
Senior Accounts Receivable Officer be:
- Previous experience working within Accounts Receivable
- Great communicator written and verbal
- Comfortable working in the office in Bedford 4 days a week
- Previous experience in reconciling sales ledger
- Comfortable working autonomously and as part of a team
