Our client, a global, market-leading business experiencing exceptional growth are looking for an organised and proactive Sales Office Manager to join their busy team in Nailsea

Job Description

Duties and responsibilities of the Sales Office Manager role include, but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for the management of the Consumer Service and Sales Support team, including performance management, setting and adherence to KPI's / targets and monitoring time through Syntegro time monitoring system
  • Ensure consumers receive timely, informative and resolution driven responses from the consumer service team, electronically and verbally; take on complex enquiries or difficult consumer cases when necessary
  • Ensure the Sales Support team process orders accurately whilst providing timely support to customers, National Account Managers and Territory Sales Managers
  • Work with the Group Consumer Services Lead to both develop and align the consumer services abilities, processes and standards
  • Continually review and develop our consumer services capabilities to provide an ever-faster response time across a wider range of days / hours in line with consumer expectations of a leading brand; striving for a 'one-contact' resolution
  • Liaise with Territory Sales Managers, National Account Managers and Logistical Managers regarding customer promotions and forecasting
  • Liaise with Logistical Managers in Belgium and Latvia with regards to large order requests
  • Ensure all sales data is compiled and reported on in order to monitor and evaluate sales volumes and accuracies as well as email and call volumes
  • Manage refund and returns for all UK Webshop orders
  • Liaise with HR Executive for resource/recruitment planning, ensuring department works smoothly and efficiently
  • Ensure consumer service and sales support team area aware of promotional activities, sales training and marketing campaigns
  • Regularly review the performance and key activities within the department with the Commercial Director arranging weekly or monthly reviews to discuss relevant information
  • Support in the set up of new customer accounts seeking support from the IT team to do so
  • Any other duties required to support the needs of the business

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate for the role of Sales Office Manager will possess:

  • Proven experience in a supervisory/management position
  • Previous experience within a Consumer Goods business
  • Experience of Office 3659
  • Experience of working with SAS, UVS Systems
  • Excellent communicator both verbally and written, with the ability to lead by example
  • Pro-active people manager
  • Customer service experience - 2 years
  • High level time management and organisation skills
  • IT literate
