You will work for Michael Page, a FTSE 250 recruitment company who operate in 37 different countries and have over 7000 staff globally. As the receptionist you will enjoy a varied, fast pace role in a modern, sociable environment. This will be a temp to perm role for the right candidate.

Job Description

As the Receptionist you will be: § Switchboard operation using Cisco UAC Advanced software.

§ First point of contact for all visitors, candidates, clients, and staff from other offices.

§ Communication with main building reception to book all visitors in.

§ Booking all meetings held in the office (co-ordination and preparation), using outlook booking system.

§ Upkeep of front of house area and all meeting rooms (presentable and clean for guests).

§ Liaison with building security, suppliers, and contractors.

§ Co-ordinating refreshments and catering as and when required.

§ Booking couriers and taxis.

§ Sorting incoming post and sending internal business post using the royal mail business account - dealing with any postal enquiries.

o Providing Office Management services in support of PFM, including:

§ Periodic housekeeping checks as directed by FM.

§ Issue and recover access cards using PAC Access Control software.

§ Reporting of property and facilities related faults, as well as flagging any health and safety concerns.

§ Assist as a first aider and fire warden, particularly assisting with taking a lead with crisis management incidents and emergency response.

o Ordering and distributing milk, squash etc. supplies for the office, as well as overseeing the use and tidiness of the kitchen/break out area.

o Other ad-hoc administrative and office support tasks as and when required.

The Successful Applicant

To be successful in applying to Michael Page, you will have:  1 year experience in a similar role
 Demonstrates excellent organisation, prioritisation and time management skills.
 Demonstrates accuracy and attention to detail
 Intermediate PowerPoint and Excel skills as well as other Microsoft Office applications.
 Strong numeracy skills
 Takes initiative, challenges current thinking, and makes suggestions
 Demonstrates drive to work towards targets and deadlines.
 Demonstrates ability to maintain composure and deliver a solid performance under pressure or in stressful situations - resilience
 A strong team player - cooperation within the team is a must.
 Professional and timely communication.
 Ability to multitask is an essential.
