About Our Client
A leading Local Authority seeking experienced Project Surveyors to join their established Property Team.
The key responsibilities:
Provide technical support to the Project manager.
Carry out pre works and post completion inspections as required in relation to works programmes.
Liaise with contractors on a day to day basis in relation to performance against agreed delivery programmes and attend site as required.
Liaise with tenants/residents/stakeholders/councillors on a day to day basis as required in relation to agreed delivery programmes and enquiries/complaints.
Attend operational site meetings with contractors and provide up to date programme information.
Provide support in relation to investigation and processing of enquiries and official complaints.
Identify and monitor potential risks within projects and take appropriate preventative steps to reduce risks.
Ensure that issues raised, including contractor performance, quality and cost of work, are responded to and dealt with within agreed timescales.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate:
- Experience working in the Social Housing sector
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety and legislation
- Ability to build effective working relationships
- Ability to manage contractors to ensure delivery of agreed performance
- Experience in carrying our inspections and diagnosing repairs
CIOB, RICS, NEBOSH or working towards qualification would be desire able.

The successful candidate will be offered the role of a Project Surveyor within an established Property Team. This is an on-going temporary contract, a Monday - Friday working week, a competitive hourly rate and an immediate start!
