Job Description

The key responsibilities for the Project Manager Band 7 role are:

The post holder will support the Deputy Director and Programme Manager in the delivery of projects within the Planned Care portfolio.

They will ensure that the workstream of programmes are planned and managed effectively and take the lead in assisting in their successful delivery:

  • Manage Projects or elements of projects
  • Assist the Team's business support function, including developing and managing the team's business plan, progress and reporting risk and issue management
  • Liaise with appropriate stakeholders
  • Manage all corporate business returns, including planning and workforce returns as required

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate for the Project Manager Band 7 role will have and be able to demonstrate:

  • Demonstrated experience of co-ordinating projects in complex and challenging environments
  • Managing risks and reporting
  • Drafting briefing papers and correspondence

  • Monitoring budgets and business planning processes

  • Experience in a Healthcare environment
  • Knowledge of project principles, techniques and tools

  • Ability to prepare and produce communications for dissemination to senior stakeholders and a broad range of stakeholders
  • Present to a varied group of internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to analyse very complex issues where material is conflicting and drawn from multiple sources
  • Experience of setting up and implementing internal processes and procedures
  • Capability to plan over short, medium and long-term time frames and adjust plans and resource requirements accordingly

What's on Offer

This is a temporary, Project Manager Band 7 (£25.5ph) role, with an immediate start date until the end of September 2022. The role is based in Romford with some work home home available.

To support the Deputy Director and Programme Manager in the delivery of projects within the Planned Care portfolio.

Training modules will need to be completed along with additional compliance checks.
