Job Description
As the Pricing Analyst / Data Analyst based from Woking, Surrey you will be responsible for
Customer pricing
Maintaining customer on-invoice pricing in SAP. When customer pricing is changed by the sales account manager (in line with the pricing policies) they will submit pricing forms and approvals for the pricing analyst to maintain in the system.
Maintaining retrospective discounts. As the sales team arrange promotions, they will inform the analyst to maintain the temporary discounts on SAP.
Playing a vital part in processing invoices from customers for discounts by either verifying invoices prepared by the sales team in our online invoice processing system (Concur) or verifying invoices directly in SAP.
Ensuring sign offs/approvals are in place as per the Pricing policy.
Management of SAP Concur workflow and retro policy allocations, as well as manually releasing SAP retro invoice rejections once reviewed.
Support the pricing manager with maintaining the pricing inbox and responding to user queries.Commercial support
The analyst will support the pricing manager and commercial accountants to help resolve queries during month end, ensuring the revenue line is accurately reported.
Responsible for the manual release of retrospective discounts based on Commercial Business Partner support. Also cover the monitoring and release of unused promotional rebates.Project work
During the year the FSSC will undertake a number of development or improvement projects. These may be working to improve our analysis, driving development and automation of systems, or representing the FSSC in projects run by other functions.
The level of accountability varies from project to project, but the analyst is expected to play a meaningful role in these as they arise and support the pricing manager on any projects where needed.
The Successful Applicant
- Experience in a Pricing or Data role is desirable but not essential
- Strong Excel and system skills essential
- SAP experience desirable but not essential
- Strong communication skills that is able to deal with multiple stakeholders
- Strong numeracy skills, problem solving, excellent attention to detail and analytical skills with good excel experience.
