Leicester based Accountancy Practice offering financial services to a wide range of clients.

Job Description

  • Timely payroll preparation and completion to strict deadlines for the company and it's employees
  • Resolution of escalated payroll queries and issues
  • Development and improvement of payroll procedures, processes and systems
  • Team supervision and leadership skills
  • Awareness of changes to current payroll legislation in order to advise the business on necessary changes
  • Complete support to the Payroll Manager and senior members of HR team
  • Ad hoc projects and payroll administration

The Successful Applicant

  • The successful candidate will have a proven track record in all aspects of payroll processing.
  • You will be knowledgeable on payroll and government legislation relating to employee benefits and payments.
  • You must also have excellent communication skills in order to effectively liaise with staff and resolve their payroll queries in an effective, but sensitive manner.
  • You will ideally have payroll experience within a practice (desirable)
  • You will have prior experience using Sage (desirable)
