Job Description
- Timely payroll preparation and completion to strict deadlines for the company and it's employees
- Resolution of escalated payroll queries and issues
- Development and improvement of payroll procedures, processes and systems
- Team supervision and leadership skills
- Awareness of changes to current payroll legislation in order to advise the business on necessary changes
- Complete support to the Payroll Manager and senior members of HR team
- Ad hoc projects and payroll administration
The Successful Applicant
- The successful candidate will have a proven track record in all aspects of payroll processing.
- You will be knowledgeable on payroll and government legislation relating to employee benefits and payments.
- You must also have excellent communication skills in order to effectively liaise with staff and resolve their payroll queries in an effective, but sensitive manner.
- You will ideally have payroll experience within a practice (desirable)
- You will have prior experience using Sage (desirable)
