Our expanding building and construction client who is based in Milton Keynes are looking to further support their payroll team by bringing in a Payroll Specialist. The aspiring candidate will be offered a hybrid and agile working structure and the environment that encourages progression. The business although is a corporate giant still has that family run feel and values all their employees equally.

Job Description

The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Monitoring the payroll inbox
  • Complete aspects of Payroll administration, including leavers, maternity and pay rate changes
  • Maintaining weekly payroll
  • Keeping records up to date
  • Calculating and inputting data
  • Adhere to payroll policies and procedures
  • Liaise with key stakeholders
  • Updating external parties with all relevant staff changes
  • Supporting the Finance team

The Successful Applicant

The Payroll Specialist will:

  • Previous payroll experience
  • Able to work to multiple deadline
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good organisational skills
  • Knowledge of Payroll responsibilities SMP, SPP, SSP, AOE
  • Great Excel skills
  • A true self starter
  • Comfortable working as part of a team or individually
