Job Description

Reporting to the Head of Finance

All aspects of payroll processing

  • Monthly payroll for c 130-150 individuals
  • Ensuring timely review and approval by management and SLT
  • Generating accounting journals
  • Processing payments, including PAYE, pension, GAYE
  • Reconciliation of payroll control accounts
  • Month end reporting and other ad hoc reporting requirements

Assisting with month end process

  • Bank reconciliation, including investigating and resolving differences
  • Data import and reconciliation
  • Journal posting
  • Selected balance sheet reconciliations

Management of fixed asset register

  • Processing fixed asset additions, including control of asset tagging process
  • Calculating and processing monthly depreciation
  • Balance sheet reconciliations

Corporate credit cards

  • Downloading and processing monthly statements
  • Ensuring timely approval
  • Monthly reconciliations

The Successful Applicant

Payroll and accountancy experience is important for this role as the client requires the interim to hit the ground running.

Skills- Proven ability of working successfully to varied deadlines whilst working at pace maintaining accuracy and support to the team

Ability to communicate in a clear and inclusive way and can interpret and disseminate complex information and data

Ability to use Excel at a strong level
