Job Description

The Payroll Advisor will be responsible for:

  • Processing end to end payroll for circa 200 employees on a monthly basis
  • Manual payroll calculations
  • Submission of pension schedules
  • Calculating statutory payments
  • Processing and managing payroll deductions
  • Processing starters and leavers
  • Processing P45s and P60s
  • Ensure the timely processing of authorised amendments
  • Filing with HMRC
  • Resolving payroll related queries
  • Keeping up to date with laws and regulations in relation to Payroll

The Successful Applicant

The successful Payroll Advisor will have:

  • A proven track record of processing end to end payroll
  • CIPP qualification (desirable)
  • A keen eye for detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A solid understanding of laws and legilation relating to payroll
  • A genuine desire to learn

What's on Offer

  • A salary of £30,000 - £35,000 depending on experience
  • Monday to Friday 9am - 5.30pm(5pm finish on Fridays)
  • 28 days holiday including bank holidays, increasing with length of service, plus 4 days extra leave at Christmas
