The position involves working collaboratively with members of analytical teams, Operations, IT and others to ensure that the correct processes are followed; meeting the needs of the users and supporting compliance with the Company's overall business and regulatory requirements.
Someone comfortable working with data would be a significant advantage, along with strong attention to detail. The selected candidate will be a self-motivated professional possessing strong organisational and problem solving skills, proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, Macros), and the ability to communicate with senior managers, analytical staff, and technical support - both verbally and in written reports. The candidate should have the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and the general desire to learn about the ratings and Fitch's Core Operations processes.
The key responsibilities of the role with include assisting with day to day management and support of theanalyticalworkflow operating processes, internalanalytical support applications, data and ratings input and verification, and electronic filing of documents. You will provide daily and adhoc support to rating analysts across the region to follow the internal credit rating committee's process, and perform other credit related and administrative tasks as directed by the Core Operations team. You will also assist withanalytical, data collection and ratingsworkflow operating processes to ensure universal compliance, and participate in various projects including training new members of the team on the use of new tools/applications.
You will assist senior Core Operations members with special projects, as needed, on behalf of the Chief Operating Officer or other leaders of Fitch Ratings, and work collaboratively with various Ratings teams. You will be able to identify and recommend enhancements to the current procedures, applications, management report and training, to provide the highest quality support to the global analytical community. You will also promote an overall understanding of compliance requirements; and related policies and procedures.
The Successful Applicant
You will be a self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team. Candidates with no prior experience will be considered, however if you have studied a degree in a a related area this would be desirable, or people with previous experience in a similar role will also be considered.
You will be customer focused with the commitment to providing exceptional client service, and a quick learner with excellent attention to detail. Fitch Rating require employees to be highly motivated, flexible, proactive, and adaptable to change, with excellent organisational and time management skills as well as strong written and verbal communication skills. You will be a proficient user of Excel (Pivot Tables, Macros).
