Job Description
A Mortgages Analyst role is being recruited on an initial 12 month fixed term basis to take on the following duties:
- Supporting the lending process from initial enquiry through to release of funds, with a focus on the more complex cases
- Ensuring the firms credit policy and procedures are being adhered to
- Producing regulatory returns for lending positions, as well as MI reports to reflect commercial and risk positions
- Supporting the continuous improvement of processes and finance systems
- Ensuring all loans are compliant with necessary FCA regulations
- Risk management and reporting and the implementation of a risk framework
- Stress modelling of existing portfolios and reporting results to senior management
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate to the Mortgages Analyst role must meet the following criteria:
- CII/CeMap qualification - minimum level 3 qualified
- Strong experience in a lending environment
- Knowledge of FCA's CONC and MCOB regulations
- Strong organisational, prioritisation and communication skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Confident problem solver and able to challenge the status quo
