Job Description

Job objectives:1. Management of our corporate social media channels including Twitter and LinkedIn, and creation of weekly content plans, scheduling management, outreach to communications partners, analysis of performance, and ad hoc paid advertising.
2. Use of Content Management System (CMS) to manage content on our corporate website, including collation, curation, and creation or update of content.
3. Support for the production of content in-keeping with brand guidelines and brand personality/language strategy. Including delivery of branded documents using Microsoft Office programmes as well as Adobe Creative Suite and online design solutions for visual assets in support of in-house graphic designer.
4. Design and execution of email marketing campaigns to promote our latest content via automated emails.
5. Undertake monthly performance analysis of the corporate website and social media channels using Google Analytics and related software.
6. Copy-writing for varying audiences in support of in-house copywriter.

7. Internal communications including sourcing updates from colleagues to feature in the internal news, as well as other regular features, distribution of regular communications via email and other Office 365 platforms, including quarterly Member's updates.
8. Provide support for wider communications colleagues based in regions/programmes when required, including with social media and collateral; in turn contributing to strengthening internal relationships and securing timely, value-added content from across the network to help the corporate team demonstrate the reach and impact of the organisation.
10. Carry out administrative duties such as filing, management of SharePoint, data management (including as a Data Protection Lead), raising Purchase Orders and recording departmental expenditure, and monitoring of the marketing email inbox.
11. Ad hoc support for events, including virtual events.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate for the Marketing Executive position will have skills such as: ▪ Minimum A level education, or equivalent
▪ Good working knowledge and understanding of a range of business to business (b2b) marketing and communications tools, channels and techniques
▪ Demonstrable knowledge of the role marketing and communications plays in achieving corporate aims
▪ Working knowledge of the channels mentioned above - e.g., social, websites, email marketing, CRM - in relation to marketing and communications
▪ Good understanding of measurement and return on investment (ROI) for marketing activity, including Google Analytics and assessment of data
▪ Good understanding of internal communications and the difference in practice to external communications▪ Demonstrable experience in supporting a range of content driven marketing activities for a professional marketing team in a b2b or b2g environment
▪ Demonstrable experience of working in a busy team to tight deadlines
▪ Evidence of systematic approach to planning and executing tasks briefed in by various team members
▪ Experience of using major communications platforms and channels in a b2b or b2g environment
▪ Evidence of using roles to develop and deepen marketing expertise
▪ Some experience of managing budgets and procurement process
▪ Experience in application of brand guidelines and brand personality/language guidelines▪ Good interpersonal skills to establish effective working relationships with colleagues, often based remotely.
▪ Good organisation and time management skills
▪ Good knowledge of software, including at least Microsoft Office suite especially PowerPoint, Word and Excel, Content Management Systems (CMS), and social media platforms
▪ Good writing skills to produce content including social media posts and short news or commentary pieces
▪ Good listening skills, able to absorb information and take direction whilst contributing own thoughts
▪ The ability to work proactively to meet challenging deadlines and priorities
▪ Good communication skills, including the ability to share key updates with colleagues on projects and analytics
