My client is a prestigous law firm based on the outskirts of Southampton.

Job Description

  • Project management of all campaign activity, including tracking and delivery of individual tasks against deadlines.
  • Reviewing actual v budgeted spend for each division using finance reporting, highlighting inconsistencies with the GTM lead
  • Logging, processing, and reviewing actual v budgeted spend for central budgets, arranging payment for approved invoices to the central account.
  • Organising media bookings for all related campaigns and divisional activity
  • Managing workflow and tracking amendments for all literature and advertising requests, including liaising with the designer to deliver these.
  • Ensuring all projects adhere to the firm's positioning and brand guidelines
  • Undertaking regular competitor analysis, highlighting significant changes to the relevant leader.
  • Co-ordinating reporting to measure effectiveness of marketing activity and campaigns
  • Allocating website marketing leads and enquiries to the appropriate practice area and updating the marketing CRM system accordingly.
  • Assisting the Events marketing manager as required, to help organise and deliver events.
  • Complete ad hoc activity as requested by the marketing leads to assist them to deliver against their plans.
  • Working collaboratively with other Marketing coordinators / assistants in the wider marketing team on projects, and supporting them as and when required, particularly for holiday cover.

The Successful Applicant

  • Previous and relevant marketing experience
  • IT savvy and able to investigate and undertake use of new tools to improve workflow and efficiency within the team.
  • Knowledge of CRM systems an advantage
  • Able to work in a matrix environment
  • Data analysis: analysis of market trends and the positioning of competitors.
  • Ability to understand budgets and actual spending.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong copywriting and proof-reading skills.
  • A business or marketing degree preferred
