About Our Client

They are looking for a Logistics Manager in Northampton.
This Logistics Manager role will be responsible for the Management and operational performance of the site and effectively delivering on the P&L.
You will lead and motivate a team and head up health and safety initiatives for the site.
You will have fantastic stakeholder management and effectively manage across the customer service, transport and warehousing teams.
You will manage the KPIs for the business and drive performance across the whole site.
You will be responsible for a fleet of vans and operatives as well as technicians within a busy warehousing operation.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate for this Logistics Manager role will have previous experience of managing a warehousing and transport team.
The most transferable experience will be from managing a fleet of vans within a busy distribution operation.
You will have fantastic interpersonal skills and be able to manage extremely well across all levels, effectively communicating to senior leadership as well as technicians within the operation.
You will have experience of managing a number of partner organisations.
You will work to strict timescales and be able to think on your feet and move goal posts if necessary to suit clients.
You will be interested in working for a business that supports its people and is looking to grow and develop.
What's on Offer
The salary for this role is £53,000 + package working a Monday - Friday / 8am - 5pm.
