Job Description

The successful Logistics Customer Coordinator will report directly into the logistics manager and will be responsible for the following areas;

Assist in managing the day to day operations including; Distribution, Queries, Planning, Customer Service along with general administrative duties
Focus on providing efficiency's within the transport network, in order to maximise profits
Aim to plan loads in the most profitable way and drive efficiency
Communicate courteously with customers by telephone, email, letter and face-to-face
Proactive problem solving for Customers
Commutable to Oakham

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate for the Logistics Customer Coordinator vacancy will display the following skills;

A Logistics distribution and Supply Chain background Desirable
1 year Logistics, Transport or Customer Service experience
Enthusiasm and positive attitude Essential
MS Office Proficient (Excel,Word,Outlook,Teams)
Ability to commute to the Oakham / Rutland area
A passion for delivering a high level of service Essential
Experience of working to deadlines in a time-critical logistics environment Desirable
A willingness to learn and progress Essential
Develop and maintain rapport for both existing and new customers
