Page Personnel are recruiting for a Legal Cashier to join a reputable Law firm based in central Leeds.
This Legal Firm are market leaders in their field, they have customers all over the UK and due to growth in the business a fantastic opportunity has become available for a Legal Cashier to join their thriving team in the Leeds office.
As a Legal Cashier, you will be reporting into the Accounts Manager, responsible for assisting with the preparation of the client accounts.
Daily processing of Client account payments, receipts and transfers; performing end of day balancing procedures, Identification and allocation of Client account receipts, Accurate posting of Client account receipts and payments, Accurate production of cheques for Client accounts to ensure the timely settlement, Accurate processing of BACS payment via online banking, Investigation and resolution of unidentified receipts on a timely basis, Investigation of client bank reconciliation variances, Ownership of client accounts, Providing ad-hoc assistance for any internal requests or queries in accordance with service line agreement, Ensuring regulatory compliance with SARs to prevent any breach, Timely and accurate filing of all support documentation
This role is suited to an existing Legal Cashier who is looking to make a move into a growing business with lots of potential to progress.
The Successful Applicant
The successful Legal Cashier will:
- Have a passion for accounts and finance
- Have excellent attention to detail
- Have very good verbal and written communication skills
- Have experience within a legal business or managing client accounts
