The globally recognised client is offering a hybrid approach to working with their offices based on the outskirts of Portsmouth. The payroll team is expanding with bringing on additional, new payrolls.

Job Description

As the Interim Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing the end to end payroll function
  • Posting journals including accruals
  • Managing and ensuring that payments (including pensions, SSP/SMP, taxes etc) are all paid on time
  • Supporting audits
  • Completing statutory reports
  • Managing a small team
  • Develop and maintain internal processes
  • Deal and manage queries within the payroll department

The Successful Applicant

In order to be considered for the role, you must:

  • Have previously worked in a similar role and be able to demonstrate this
  • Have experience within a managerial position
  • Be able to communicate both verbally and written across the wider business
  • Be able to prioritise and multi-task
  • Be computer proficient
