Job Description

In a fast-paced and varied Interim HR Advisor role based in Leeds, the successful candidate will be expected to:

  • Manage all complex employee relations casework for selected business areas, up to and including dismissal
  • Support the implementation of organisational change initiatives, including restructures and TUPE
  • Effectively manage the Employee Relations case tracker and produce people metric reports for senior stakeholders
  • Build manager capability in effective people management by providing expert HR advice, guidance and training on all issues connected to the employment relationship
  • Actively contribute to the development, review and implementation of HR policies, procedures and toolkits in accordance with employment law and best practice
  • Take the lead on specific projects in line with organisational requirements and personal objectives

The Successful Applicant

We're looking for someone with;

  • Availability to start immediately or at short-notice
  • Demonstrable working knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice
  • Effective management of a complex caseload including keeping accurate records and ensuring timely, appropriately risk assessed resolution
  • Experience of supporting organisational change processes e.g. TUPE
  • Effective negotiation and influencing skills
  • CIPD L5/7 qualified is preferred
