Our client is a modern, forward thinking organisation that offer a variety of services that assist towards the safety and well being of people within a number of communities across Manchester. They are now looking for a HR Data and Systems Specialist to join their growing team in Didsbury.

Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

System Administration

  • Security (Functions, Groups, Roles and Users)
  • Audit Processing
  • Batch Jobs (housekeeping)
  • System Copies
  • System email addresses
  • Workflows & workflow preferences
  • System upgrades & patching - working with colleagues from Business Systems
  • Correspondence templates
  • Housekeeping & System Maintenance
  • Configuration
  • Data security



Reporting

  • Data accuracy and integrity
  • Produce accurate scheduled reports to include (but not limited to);
  • Operations
    • Absence - days lost
    • Sickness trigger reporting
    • Headcount
    • Turnover
    • Overtime & On call
  • Compliance reporting



Benchmarking & insights

Working with the wider HR& OD team and Business Intelligence team to review the full sector and market data to provide insights and horizon scanning for;

  • Pay benchmarking internal and external
  • Gender pay analysis internal
  • EDI statistics, demographics and analysis
  • Absence analysis
  • Leaver analysis
  • Recruitment trends



Personal development

  • To undertake appropriate training and colleague development.
  • To take ownership for personally developing own skills, identify opportunities for personal development undertaking a full CPD programme for the year in agreement with the Head of HR
  • Be committed to continually updating yours and your team's industry knowledge and employment law updates
  • To build and develop strong stakeholder relationships internal and externally and actively network outside of the organisation to ensure skills are current

The Successful Applicant

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  • At least two years' experience in a similar role within HR
  • Working knowledge and understanding of Cascade
  • Working knowledge of Business Objects
  • Developing strong working partnerships with a range of people at all levels
  • Senior stakeholder management experience
  • Strong Influencing and assertiveness skills
  • Proactive proven track record of achieving results
  • Outcome focused with strong delivery
  • Excellent written and verbal communication - strong attention to detail striving for excellence
  • Experience of understanding value add support service
  • Innovate thinker prepared to try new things
  • Awareness and understanding of business improvement methodologies
  • Awareness of new GDPR legislation



Ideally looking for candidates that CIPD Level 5 qualified or working towards.
