Job Description

As a HR Assistant you will:

  • Be the first point of contact for employees raising work related concerns, managing and escalating to management where appropriate
  • You will be required to manage and update the internal system with employee records ensuring personal details are accurate
  • Take administrative responsibility for the employee life cycle, this will involve liaising with management staff to provide employee feedback
  • Updating and maintaining internal records regarding policies and procedures, people rewards and pension schemes, employee life cycle events
  • Ensuring that employee work related cases are escalated to management efficiently and that notes and files are stored correctly
  • Assist in preparing monthly KPI reports for management meetings
  • Assist in the HR Audit process
  • Provide support with the monthly payroll process when required
  • Manage diaries booking in annual processes such as monthly review meetings, return to work meetings and external training courses
  • Assisting staff seconded from overseas with aspects of UK life(housing, family and cultural matters)

The Successful Applicant

The successful HR Assistant will have:

  • Previous experience working within a HR function at an administrative level
  • CIPD Level 3 or working towards this in HR
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • IT efficiency including the use of Microsoft Excel and Outlook
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Confidence to work independently as well as being a good team player
  • Be pro-active and eager to suggest new ideas
