Job Description

As a Grants Officer your duties will include:

Maintain and manage effective electronic and paper-based records and filing systems in support of all fund-raising duties

Take responsibility for compiling funding bids in support of bespoke work initiatives

You'll keep the trustee board updated on the foundation portfolio, make clear and confident funding recommendations, and analyse foundation performance to identify improvements

Responsible for ensuring the foundation meets all relevant legislative and compliance requirements

Creating templates for budgeting and reporting ensuring consistency

Leading the grants finance support across the organisation

The Successful Applicant

The successful Grants Officer will have:

Ideally previous experience of a similar role

Practical experience of using fund-raising databases and/or Access

Good financial understanding and the ability to analyse, manipulate and present financial and other data

Strong interpersonal skills

A genuine desire to support the people that require that charities help
