Job Description

The key responsibilities of this position will include the following tasks and duties;

  • Taking the lead on Accounts Receivable duties
  • Cash Flow
  • Debt Management and Credit Control
  • Production and Planning of Accounts
  • Reporting and Analysis
  • Providing VAT advice
  • Authorising purchases
  • Invoice management
  • Balance sheets
  • Reconciliations
  • Liaising with payroll in regards to Finance queries
  • Forecasting and Budgeting
  • Supporting and managing assistants

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate for this position will have the following traits and skills;

  • High levels of organisation
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Comfortable building and maintaining relationships with senior staff and external clients
  • Ability to produce and present complex numerical data
  • AAT Qualified (Qualified by experience may be considered)
  • Strong IT skills - most notably Microsoft Packages e.g Excel
  • Experience of staff management
  • Familiarity of Oracle system
