About Our Client

Our client is a well known leading Not for Profit organisation in the UK.

They are looking for a Financial Accountant to join their team as soon as possible on a temporary basis. The successful Financial Accountant will be responsible for assisting the Head of Finance.

Job Description

Financial Accountant Responsibilities:

  • Assisting the Financial Accounting team
  • Reporting
  • Assisting with internal and external audit
  • Support with year end accounts
  • Cashflow forecast
  • Reconciliations
  • Reviewing statements and schedules
  • Adhoc duties that may be required

The Successful Applicant

The successful Financial Accountant:

  • Experience in a similar role
  • Experience in Public Sector
  • Someone wanting to progress in Financial Accounts over Management Acocunts
  • Studying towards a professional accountancy qualification
  • Experience with finance software and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Be immediately available or available on short notice
  • Able to commute to Nottingham
