A large charity based in Leeds are looking for some interim support in their finance team.
The key responsibilities of the Finance Officer role are varied because of the support nature of the role, it'll be an all round finance role from transactional finance through to month and year end. Key things will be reviewing and managing the finance mailbox, overseeing the purchase and sales ledger, answering and escalating queries on the ledgers. Working with finance management to review current processes, identifying where improvements can be made. Assisting with month and year end, and dealing with accruals, prepayments and reconciliations.
The Successful Applicant
The successful Finance Officer will have strong and broad experience in a similar support level or all round finance role. They'll be immediately available to work and happy to work on an interim basis for at least 3 months. They will ideally have a charity or non profit background, and be familiar with larger organisations.
