This temporary Finance Business Partner position is working for a global FMCG company based in Slough.
Job Description
This temporary Finance Business Partner role will involve the following responsibilities:
- Assisting the UK sales finance function in supporting the UK commercial teams
- Customer investment tracking and processing ensuring compliance
- Balance Sheet and P&L analysis for relevant areas within strict month end deadlines
- Quarterly/Yearly budgeting process (P&L and B/S)
- Sales Reporting pack (Mthly, Qtly, Yrly) for all Plans and Actuals
- Provide financial analysis of results and forecasts to aid management decision making
- Control on deduction processing
- Accurate and timely completion of all internal reporting of relevant areas for local & regional requirements
- Aiding continuous improvements to processes within the role
- Review and resolution of customer claims
- Planning, tracking and reporting of all customer related spend
- Evaluation & decision support for customer specific pricing proposals
- Preparation of month end accounting entries
- Liaison with Sales and AR to analyse & process customer claims
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate for this temporary Finance Business Partner position will need to have the following skills:
- Prior business partnering experience
- Accounting knowledge, journal entry, BS reconciliations & thorough understanding of P&Ls
- Strong excel skills.
- Ability to manipulate complex, raw data to provide analytics and insights
- Willingness to take responsibility & drive process improvements
- Attention to detail
- Communication skills
