About Our Client

Our client is a well established, leading public sector organisation based in Liverpool City Centre.

Job Description

As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for the following duties:- Providing direct support to senior staff members

- Creating and inputting journal transfers

- Corresponding with other departments and third parties regarding accounting services

- Reconciliations and invoice processing

- Assisting with closure of accounts at year end

- Producing reports

The Successful Applicant

The successful applicant for the Finance Assistant role will possess the following skills:- Experience in a similar accounts/finance role

- Excellent organisation and communication skills

- Knowledge of IT packages (Microsoft)

- Strong customer service skills

- Ability to prioritise tasks and maintain a high standard of work

- Comfortable working to deadlines
