About Our Client

A reputable public sector organisation in Redditch is looking to add a Finance Assistant to their finance team as soon as possible to support with a back-log.

Job Description

  • Purchase ledger processing - set up vendor accounts, posting service invoices
  • PO processing including raising PO's, matching to P invoices
  • Supplier payments - raising payment schedules
  • Bank - processing receipts & payments & reconciliations
  • Sales order processing - raising sales order ect.
  • Sales ledger - set up customer accounts, understand credit checks, statements & debt chasing
  • Answer incoming calls

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate will be immediately available or available on a short notice (no more than 1 week). They will:

  • Be able to hit the ground running;
  • Have sound knowledge of excel (v-look ups and pivot tables);
  • Have good communication skills.
