About Our Client

Our client are facing an exciting period of positive change and growth, they are seeking a Finance Assistant based in Wrexham, to support all financial aspects across two UK sites within the business reporting to the Finance Manager working very closely with the operational director and the business owners.

Job Description

The successful Finance Assistant will:

  • Assist with inter-company reconciliations and transactions
  • Support with year end accounts for external audit
  • Assisting with management accounts for external accountant sign-off
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Managing financial information in relation to key business projects including mergers and acquisitions
  • Responsibility of payable and receivable ledgers
  • Taking on credit control duties where required
  • Adhoc duties as required by the Finance Manager

The Successful Applicant

The successful Finance Assistant will be or have:

  • Experience working within a small business
  • Sage exposure highly beneficial
  • Very open attitude to work, to support across finance & administration
  • Open attitude to horticulture and agricultural farming industry
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Ability to work to very high standards and work independently
