About Our Client

I am working with a client based in the Burton area of Derby that are looking for an Accounts Assistant / Purchase Ledger.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a manufacturing business who have office's both in the UK and Canada.

You will report directly into the Financial Controller and be a key part of the Finance Team.

Job Description

  • Responsible for Accounts Payable function:
    • Matching and entering supplier invoices
    • Managing payments to suppliers
  • Maintaining the cashbook.
  • Bank reconciliations.
  • Inter-company reconciliations and raising recharge invoices.
  • Processing weekly wages.
  • Maintaining the holiday/HR system.

The Successful Applicant

  • Confident with Excel
  • Accounts experience
  • Basic Accounts Skills
