My client is the UK's largest producer of aluminium sheet and the worlds largest recycler of the product, they operate all across Europe working with waste management businesses, local authorities and private businesses to maximise the potential value of the aluminium they collect.
Job Description
Key responsibilities of the Finance Analyst will be the creation and analysis of rolling forecasts based on customer inputs, transfer of data to a variety of ERP systems, preparing sales analysis, tracking price trends, account data and analysis and generally supporting the Commercial/Finance teams. This role will also be responsible for helping the business grow into new markets and work with a different type of customer to their already established client base through the analysis conducted.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate for the Finance Analyst role will be commercially minded, be progressive and diverse to fit the company culture, this role will have a lot of dealings with the European arm of the company so good communication and confidence in presentation is key. A background in the automotive sector will give you a great head start in the role but isn't a necessity, you will need to be willing to work from the office 5 days a week where required and speaking German would be a huge bonus.
