About Our Client
A global FMCG based just south of Reading centre. They are able to offer flexible and hybrid working as well as potential long term opportunities.
Management of intercompany relationships, accounting, settlements and overdues.
Responsible for the monthly intercompany close, Intercompany matching and reporting out-of-balances through the Suncore tool.
Take ownership of unblocking aged invoices, working with the business as appropriate to release invoices for payment.
Management of the monthly balance sheet reconciliations process and ensuring high quality reviews performed on a timely basis.
Day-to-day contact for intercorporate queries.
Control owner for intercompany internal controls, which includes performing risk assessments, operating controls, testing controls and maintaining up-to-date process documentation.
- Drive efficiencies and improvements in areas of responsibility and support other projects as required.
The Successful Applicant
Knowledge of SAP/HFM/Suncore, US GAAP, Hedge accounting and Cash flow forecasting would be preferred but not essential
Experience with outsourced shared service centres (internal or external) is desirable.
Excellent & effective communicator
Pro-active, disciplined and analytical approach to all work undertaken
Attention to detail while maintaining an appreciation of materiality
Able to work to tight deadlines and balance competing priorities
Confident with excel and generally competent in using IT systems
Flexible working style
Keen to learn with good problem solving skills
Strong coaching skills, team player mentality
