Our client a Market Leading Internationally Recognised business are currently recruiting for a Commercial Finance Analyst to join the team in Woking, Surrey due to an internal promotion
Job Description
As the Commercial Finance Analyst you will work with the Marketing Business Partner to support the UK Marketing and Retail teams.
The role will work closely with the Head of Retail to support the Retail business along with the online operations. This will involve preparing the monthly accounts, offering analysis and insight into business performance and supporting the annual budget exercise.
On the Marketing side the role will offer support to the Marketing Business Partner with managing spend, assisting the month end close and running reports into activity.
- The role will be the primary support to the Retail business and work closely with the Head of Retail
- Preparation of monthly accounts for the Retail business covering brands and online operations
- Analysis of monthly performance to Budget / PF
- Run the budget process for the Retail business
- Manage the Marketing PO process to ensure POs are raised accurately and on time to ensure correct recognition of costs and timely payments to suppliers
- Assist the Marketing Business Partner with analysis into Marketing activity
- Support the business with projects to help improve the performance of the Retail and Marketing functions
The Successful Applicant
- Studying or Part qualified (CIMA, ACA or ACCA)
- Prior experience of commercial finance / business partnering would be beneficial but not essential
- Experience of SAP beneficial but not essential
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Drive - the person should always be looking for ways to improve process and business outcomes
- Collaboration - the person will work closely with a number of teams in the business, so the person must be able to form effective relationships and work in a collaborative fashion to deliver business targets
- Curiosity - the person should always want to understand more about the business, the market and ways of working. This curiosity should inspire improvements
