Job Description

This Customer Service Leader will take full responsibility of the entire Customer Service department. You'll manage a team as well as playing a hands on role with key business customer accounts.

The duties of this team starts at the point of order, and works closely with the customer right through to delivery of order in full.

  • Provide leadership and guidance to the customer service team
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer service
  • Handle complex customer complaints and queries
  • Measure customer satisfaction and analyse feedback
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure product and service delivery
  • Train and develop team members to enhance their skills
  • Participate in recruitment and performance evaluation processes
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and customer service best practices

The Successful Applicant

A successful Customer Service Manager should have:

  • Proven experience in a managerial role within a customer service function within the Distribution / Manufacturing / FMCG sector.
  • A thorough understanding of the entire order-to-delivery process, with a clear recognition of how a high-performing customer service team is essential to driving both operational efficiency and customer satisfaction
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to handle high-stress situations and make decisions under pressure
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-oriented mindset
  • Excellent system abilities
  • Data driven
