My client is a market-leading and successful organisation based in Thurmaston, who have an immediate requirement to recruit a professional Credit Controller into the team. My client is offering flexibility and hybrid working too which is a huge advantage!
Job Description
The role will include a variety of duties including:
- Effective credit control on business to business accounts
- Rapport building and account management with key clients
- Invoice query and account issue resolution
- Setting payment plans and reduce outstanding and bad debt
- Work towards and successfully hit collection targets and company KPIs
- Perform ad hoc credit control, sales ledger and accounts administration
The Successful Applicant
Essential:
- Proven credit control experience, ideally in a high volume incoming telephone call environment
- Team player and target driven
- Flexible with a willingness to take on additional tasks and responsibilities when required
- Ability to communicate effectively (verbal & written)
- Well organised, self-motivated and ambitious
Desirable:
- Portfolio Management circa 1,000 customer accounts
- Knowledge of debt collection techniques to pre-litigation stage
- Knowledge of different insolvency types and requirements
