About Our Client
Page Personnel are proud to be partnering with a large Manufacturing and Production business who are looking for a credit controller to join them within the next week on a temporary to permanent basis. Working alongside a well decorated Finance Manager, this will be a great opportunity to work in an organization with a fantastic reputation within their industry.
Job Description
The key duties of this credit controller will be:
- Processing summary sheets daily, ensuring all credit notes are accurately posted, and stock correctly accounted for
- Responsible to manage a debtor ledger, to contact customers to chase outstanding and overdue debt, keeping aged debts to a minimum
- Maintaining collection diary with notes, actions, and time of call
- To report on the status of the ledger to the Finance Manager, and identify problem accounts on a timely basis
- To engage with customers and other functions within the business to resolve customer queries related to the customer's account, whilst maintaining good customer relations
- To send out copy invoices and statements were necessary
- To take credit card payments
- To provide support to the Finance Manager to manage sales ledger accounts for accounts that the business invoice on behalf of it's partner companies
The Successful Applicant
The successful credit controller will:
- Have working knowledge of credit control, ideally in a B2B environment
- Have a working knowledge of working with a large number of accounts
- Have a working knowledge of collaborating with other departments to resolve customer service issues
- Have experience of working with customers to resolve overdue debt
