The client is a large NHS hospital based in East London, and this role is based full time on site.

Job Description

The key responsibilities for the Contact Centre Manager role are:

  • Review and manage high quality responses to appointment queries and other enquiries as appropriate.
  • Ensure that KPI's are met by providing support, coaching, training and performance management to their teams
  • To be responsible for the contact centre team
  • Establish highly effective working relationships with internal colleagues
  • Ensure queries and responses are tracked to ensure all patients receive a response in a timely manner
  • Main point of contact for team queries, helping to resolve complex queries
  • Produce regular performance reports

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate for this Contact Centre Manager role must have:

  • Education to a degree level or equivalent
  • Management qualification at NVQ level 4 or equivalent level of training and experience
  • Experience at management level, ideally within the NHS
  • Experience of analysing performance data
  • Understanding of patient access policies
  • Excellent IT skills
  • The ability to work under pressure with resilience

What's on Offer

On offer to the candidate is a 1 year temporary maternity cover contract to work as a Contact Centre Manager for the NHS. The role is based full time on site in East London and is offering between £20 and £22 per hour. The successful candidate must have previous experience of management and managing a team, ideally within the NHS. Interviews to be held ASAP, with the idea to get someone started as quickly as possible.
