Ritter Sport is looking to recruit a Business Operations Administrator due to the company's growth in the UK.
Business Operations Administrator - Leeds
Reporting directly into the UK Business Operations Manager, this is a really varied business support role that encompasses all elements of an entrepreneurial feel with a large business backing.
The aim is support of the wider UK team to ensure operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
All areas of Supply Chain
Liaise with HQ about stock ordering and resolve any issues with incoming goods
Monitor stock levels and life of product in stock
Liaise with haulier about deliveries and customer queries regarding deliveries
Investigate and provide copies of paperwork if requested by customer
Keep track of all jobs and invoices
Maintain record of all damages and incidents to track and report performance
Attend quarterly review meetings at UK depots
Resolve EDI errors in SAP
All areas of Accounts Payable and Receivable
Process customer orders
Reconcile Bank Statements daily
Prepare payment runs and monitor payments due in
Update exchange rate in SAP daily
Month-end and Year-end Accounts compilation in line with group deadlines
Compile data for quarterly VAT returns, monthly Intrastat submissions and monthly EC Sales lists
Make monthly journal postings of prepayments and accruals
Book travel for MD and groups, communicate booking details
Arrange any external meetings (event planning: location, refreshments, travel, equipment etc)
Liaise with IT team at HQ
Send out ad hoc samples to customers and also organise mass sampling mail outs (obtain contact details, acquire stock and POS/packaging materials, work within budget restraints)
Order stationery, keep office tidy and ensure office is stocked with product, submit photocopier meter readings and monitor ink/paper levels, arranging refills as necessary, maintain holiday planner, file all documentation for audit trail
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous working knowing in an business support/administration role - essential
- Highly proficient on Excel (Macros, V Look ups, Pivot Tables) - essential
- Current/Previous use of SAP package system - essential
- Graduate calibre - desirable but not essential
- Positive, passionate, engaging, resilient, organised, forward thinking, high accountability, sees the job through to finish, relishes a true hands-on role in a fast paced start up environment.
