Our client is an award-winning business in the Hospitality and Catering sector who have recently experienced exciting growth and acquisitions. They are recruiting for a passionate Assistant Accountant to join their Finance team in Wakefield.

Job Description

As the Assistant Accountant you will be responsible for:

  • Posting Accruals and Prepayments
  • Balance sheet Reconciliations
  • Reconciling Bank Statements and client accounts
  • Cash allocation
  • Purchase ledger processing
  • Generating and Issuing Monthly Statement
  • Assisting the Group Finance Manager with month end tasks
  • Working on Sage Line 50

The Successful Applicant

The successful Assistant Accountant will have experience with:

  • Month end duties duties
  • Using Sage Line 50
