About Our Client

A fantastic Global business are currently recruiting for an Accounts Payable Lead on a contract basis.

Job Description

Duties will include, however aren't limited too-

  • Managing a team of 8 responsible for Purchase Ledger and VAT returns.
  • Covering entities in the UK, Australia, US, Europe, South America.
  • Ensuring suppliers are paid within agreed terms, ensuring the appropriate approvals and necessary controls are maintained.
  • Maintaining appropriate controls over new supplier on boarding, including due diligence, confirmation of bank details.
  • Reviewing weekly supplier payment runs.
  • Working closely with all areas of the business to ensure all supplier relationships are maintained.
  • Responsible for Purchase Ledger and VAT reporting to the business.
  • Supplier payment reporting.
  • Review VAT returns, Withholding Tax returns, Intrastats, EC Sales and other regulatory returns for multiple worldwide entities, including UK, Australia, Europe, South America and the US.
  • Working closely with the Tax team to ensure all returns are submitted in a timely manner.
  • Ensure appropriate processes and controls are maintained for the timely and accurate submission of all regulatory returns.
  • Knowledge of VAT groups beneficial
