About Our Client

The client is a large Recruitment Consultancy providing nationwide coverage. They are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their team over in Bristol in a great location.

Job Description

The successful Accounts Assistant may be required to own/assist in are as follows:

· Purchase Ledger

· Maintaining PO register

· Inter-companies matrix reconciliations

· Raising monthly and quarterly internal management recharge invoices

· Preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns

· VAT reconciliations

· Weekly financial reporting for directors

· Completing supplier forms

· Dealing with general accounts queries

· Maintaining the fixed asset register

· Balance sheet reconciliations

· Payroll reconciliations

· Assistance with month end procedures

· Accruals / prepayments

· Assistance with year-end audit

· Provide support to the finance team during month end reporting and during holidays

· Provide support for processing weekly contractor payments during holidays

The Successful Applicant

The successful Accounts Assistant will have:

· Attention to detail

· Numerate with a strong interest in working in finance

· Self-motivated

· "Can do" attitude

· Ability to learn quickly

· Good Excel Skills a bonus
