About Our Client
My client is a high performing rapidly growing business within the Automotive sector based in Warwickshire but with nationwide coverage.
Job Description
The Accounts Assistant role working for this Automotive sector client in Warwickshire will involve:
- Accurate management of the Accounts Payable process ensuring close control and reporting of cashflow
- Processing of supplier invoices and credit notes onto the system in a timely manner
- Credit control
- Regular bank postings and bank reconciliations
- Supporting in the timely closing of monthly accounts and reconciliations
- Journal postings, accruals and prepayments
- Setting up of suppliers on the system and ongoing maintenance of those accounts
- Process regular payment runs for all currencies, including staff expenses
- Reconcile supplier statements to check all invoices stated are on the system
- Accurate raising of sales invoices and send to clients
- Updating cashflow forecasts
- Continuous review of procedures, alignment of processes and best practice recommendation
- Co-ordinating cost allocation splits for group recharges
The Successful Applicant
To be successful in this Accounts Assistant role the ideal candidate will need Demonstrable practical experience in a similar role, preferably within a fast-moving and high growth environment, excellent experience in managing Accounts Payable processes with close Cashflow management, Proficient Microsoft Excel skills, Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
