About Our Client

Our client is a market leading UK Wide Business based in the Glasgow City Centre. They do offer flexible & hybrid working, however, are well located for public transport.

Job Description

The successful candidate will likely have the following responsibilities:

  • Preparing monthly hotel management accounts, including commentary on variance
  • Processing and validating hotel revenue data on a daily basis
  • Preparing and posting accruals, prepayments and other monthly journal
  • Working closely with clients throughout the month to ensure any issues are resolved and required information is received
  • Dealing with ad hoc queries from hotel clients on top of BAU work
  • Working closely with Accounts Seniors and Financial Controllers to challenge and improve processes

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will likely have the following profile:

  • Proactive self-starter with ability to problem solve
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of Excel skills would be very advantageous
  • The ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Organising and prioritising work to meet reporting deadlines
  • Experience of Navision or other ERP systems highly desirable
