Job Description

Reporting into the Finance Manager the accounts assistant will have the following duties:

  • Creating accounts for new customers / suppliers

  • Producing sales invoices/purchase invoices

  • Inputting of purchase invoices onto in house system

  • Sales ledger & Credit control duties

  • Managing all of the invoice queries and ad hoc accounts queries

  • Housekeeping of in-house databases (excel based)

  • Maintaining confidentiality of the department and using discretion where necessary

  • Ensuring excellent communication between departments

  • Observing and complying with VAT regulations/company procedures

The Successful Applicant

The successful accounts assistant MUST have:

  • Proven track record in similar role
  • Knowledge of sage experience, ERP systems
  • Proficient in excel
  • Highly organised and excellent communication skills
  • Adaptable and able to work in a team
