Accountant

The Accountant will be responsible for the following:

• Support with budgeting and cost control, including financial planning and forecasting
• Manage the finance team to ensure all functions, including sales and purchase ledgers, record keeping and cash reconciliation for daily takings are maintained in the proper manner
• Set stretching, realistic and achievable performance targets for the finance team, particularly in terms of cash collection
• Implement controls around, and closely manage, the day-to-day expenditure of the company, including reviewing and negotiating supplier contracts
• Prepare and present business cases for cost saving initiatives
